Announcing!
The Final
Monthly Print Offer
Over the past 4 years I
have had a lot of fun and tremendous response to this
series and I am grateful to all that participated by
ordering one or more prints. It has been a great run
with literally hundreds of relatively inexpensive prints
sold, many to those that would not ordinarily find
themselves in the position to collect original
photographic prints. However, all things must pass and
I've decided to suspend the series for the foreseeable
future to concentrate on several other projects that
have been occupying an increasing amount of time around
here. This does not mean I will not still make special
things available to members of the mailing list,
including an upcoming portfolio of some of my most
collected work as well as some very special one of a
kind offers yet to be announced, but this will be the
last $100.00 monthly print offer.
So, what does a guy choose for the last offer of this
kind? A lot of thought has gone into this and I
have finally decided to go with perhaps my most
collected and published photograph of the last 20 years
and also the cover photo for my first book,
"Willow Branches - Rouge River, 1999"
Like all other monthly print offers, this is a
hand made, silver gelatin darkroom print with a gentle
sepia / selenium split- tone. As with previous offerings
of this type, this intimate sized version is not
editioned and will ship to you as shown in an unmounted
state. Suggestions for mounting and framing will be
included with your print.

Captured Landscapes
I've been
working as of late on an exciting personal project in
the collodion process that I have been calling "Captured
Landscapes". Working with 19th century lenses and
shooting very close up, I have been exploring the
landscapes inside of a collection of snow globes. I've
been feeling very fortunate that the work is being
recognized out there in the world.
Recently featured in The International Analogue
Photographic Society website, they have a nice selection
there and I invite you to see more. There are also some
samples in the "New
Work" section of my website.

Paul Paletti Gallery
June - August 2010
I'm pleased to be showing some
very new collodion work done on black glass and aluminum
this summer at the Paul Paletti Gallery in Louisville,
KY. This will be a dual show with the wonderful
photographer, Paul Taylor and is part of the 40th Annual
Glass Art Society Conference as well as the Louisville
Visual Arts Festival, 2010.
Considerations are still being worked out as for the
open, but I will make every attempt to be on hand for
the party. For anyone that knows Paul, his parties are
not to be missed.
