Please read on for our strict payment and refund policies for our various experience offerings. I regret that these policies have to be in place, but after years of experience, they must be in order to protect all involved.
Photostock Event: General registration fees for the Photostock Festival are non-refundable. However, they are transferable. If for any reason you are not able to attend, you may arrange for a friend or acquaintance who has not yet registered to attend on your pass. Simply contact us so we can make a pass for them and make other arrangements. We will not be responsible for finding you a replacement.
Workshops: Due to the expense of booking the fine talent we offer here at North Light Photographic Workshops and Photostock, we are very strict in our refund policy. Travel, lodging and the valuable time of our instructors require a commitment from all involved, including the participants. For this reason, our policy is that all workshop fees must be paid at registration and are non-refundable within 45 days of the start of the workshop. No exceptions on this.
After registering, you will be given needed information for your time with us and reminded of the workshop no later than 1 week in advance. If for any reason you miss the workshop, there will be no credit given for a reschedule.
Trips and Tours: Our trips are run on a strict budget which is how the prices are kept lower than most comparable offerings you will find and for that we have a very strict payment and refund policy and by signing on, you are agreeing to this policy. It takes a lot to coordinate everything including payment contracts with providers and group rates, so your commitment is REQUIRED. Once a trip is announced as an official go either by email notification or on the website, no fees paid by the participant to that point are refundable. We will not be held responsible for changes of plans, illness or any other issues that may get in the way of your original intent to go on the trip. If you decide not to go or cannot go for any reason, this will be your responsibility. You can also hand your place off to willing participant not already signed on for the trip, but this too will be your responsibility. We will not be held responsible for finding you a replacement. For this reason it is strongly suggested that you procure your own travel insurance. Again, we will not be held responsible for changes in plans once the trip has the required number of participants.
Again, we are very strict on this policy. Unfortunately we cannot be held responsible for your change of plans once you sign up, so please be sure you are committed to your experience before doing so.
If for any reason it becomes necessary for NLPW or Photostock to cancel a workshop, attendees will be notified. Another workshop or full refund will be offered. In the case of trips or tours, depending upon the circumstances and timing of cancellation, a refund or credit for a future experience will be offered. We will not be held responsible for nonrefundable travel costs and again it is strongly suggested that you procure your own travel insurance.
